This study investigates the relationship between financial technologies (FinTechs) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance, focusing on Nubank as a representative case within the Latin American context. Drawing on ESG reports from 2021 to 2023, the research assesses how digital banking strategies have contributed to environmental efficiency, financial inclusion, and improvements in corporate governance. The analysis highlights Nubank's adoption of emerging technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence, and evaluates the impact of these tools on ESG-related outcomes. While the findings indicate significant progress in areas such as social outreach and internal diversity, challenges remain in terms of emissions transparency, data verification, and governance reporting. The study offers evidence that FinTechs, when strategically implemented, can serve as catalysts for sustainable financial transformation in emerging markets.
